Common questions

What counts as a "brief"?

One tender URL pasted into BidFit returns one brief — verdict, score, reasons, missing documents, and suggested actions. The same tender re-run later counts as a separate brief.

What's the difference between briefs and the matrix?

A brief is the on-screen verdict. The matrix is a downloadable CSV (Excel-ready) with every requirement, missing document, and suggested action laid out as rows you can assign to your team — owner, due date, evidence link.

How does the daily monitoring digest work?

Every weekday at 7am ET, you get an email with your saved tenders bucketed into "closing soon" (next 3 days), "upcoming" (4–14 days), and "recently closed." You only get the email when there's something worth surfacing.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from your Account page. Stripe pro-rates the change and you keep using everything until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Is there a free trial of paid plans?

Not yet. The free tier gives you 5 briefs/month forever — that's enough to test BidFit on real tenders before deciding. If you want a longer evaluation for a team, email hello@bidfit.ca.

What happens if I exceed my plan's limits?

For brief and matrix caps, BidFit shows an upgrade nudge and pauses the metered action until the next month or until you upgrade. For watch-list caps, you'll need to remove a tender or upgrade before adding more.
